VR game in development for Xbox One

New VR game based on an "established, long-running franchise."

Xbox One VR

A well-known European studio is planning “a new VR game” set in the universe of an “established, long-running franchise,” and it’s in development for a PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One release in 2017, according to an Ars Technica report. The website says it will be announced at E3 next month and feature the word “VR” in the title.

This information comes via pre-E3 planning sent to Ars Technica and was confirmed by the studio’s public relations representative. The news here, of course, is that a virtual reality game is planned for release on Xbox One, lending further credence to rumors earlier this week that Microsoft plans to release a virtual reality-compatible Xbox One in late 2017, that it also plans on announcing at E3 next month.
