Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap

DotEmu and Lizardcube have launched a teaser website counting down the reveal of Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap.

Lizardcube is a new studio formed by ex-Media Molecule and Q-Games developer Omar Cornut, and traditional comic and animation artist Ben Fiquet, that announced its establishment last week.

DotEmu is a french studio that recently brought back Pang, a series of popular arcade games from the early 90s, in the form of Pang Adventures. Now, they look to be doing the same for Wonder Boy. (Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap first launched for the Sega Master System in 1989.)

The official reveal is set for this Thursday, June 2 at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET.
