7th Dragon III demo now available in Japan

3DS RPG due out October 15 in Japan.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD

A demo for 7th Dragon III Code: VFD is now available on the 3DS eShop in Japan, Sega announced.

The demo lets players experience the story’s prologue and a battle against a powerful dragon. Specifically, it runs from Chapter 0 into the opening of Chapter 1. Different from the retail version, there is no character creation and the max level is 10. You can import your save data into the retail version, however, and when you do, you’ll be able to change the appearance, name, and job class of your character. Users with a Japanese 3DS can quickly access the demo using this QR code.

Sega also released a new set of screenshots, introducing the dragon bosses of Chapter 0 and Chapter 2, which are the Imeperial Dragons Spectas and Mayhem, respectively. You’ll also see the lower class district of “Cladion,” which is located in the game’s Atlantis setting.

7th Dragon III Code: VFD is due out for 3DS on October 15 in Japan.
