Tales of Zestiria introduces Izuchi elder and veteran explorer

This week's Jump reveals latest characters.

Tales of Zestiria

Jump this week reveals two new characters set to appear in Tales of Zestiria.

Jiiji, voiced by Ichiro Nagai, is an Izuchi elder who raised Sorey and Mikleo and cares for them deeply. A man described as scary when angry, he keeps Izuchi protected under a powerful barrier and thunder magic.

Mervyn, voiced by Tomomichi Nishimura, is a veteran explorer and holder of “The Record of Heavenly Bequeathments” who gives advice to Sorey. The purpose of his journey seems to be a secret.

Additionally, the magazine also introduces sub-events, short episodes outside of the main scenario that may perhaps show the social background of Glenwood and dive deeper into the world of Zestiria.

Tales of Zestiria is due out for PlayStation 3 in Japan on January 22.
