Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II patch to add transformation item and more

Just when I thought I was done writing about this game, they pull me back in.

The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II

According to leaks of this week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation, the version 1.03 patch that’s set to arrive at an undisclosed date for The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II will be adding a character transformation accessory, building off of previous news about three characters that will be unlocked for party use in the game.

The accessory, dubbed “The Mirror of Reveries,” can be purchased at healing installations and is used in the game’s Corridor of Reveries. Equipping it will allow the character wearing it to transform into one of the following five characters:

  • Rixia Mao
  • Lloyd Bannings
  • Vita Clotilde
  • Altina Orion
  • Crow Armbrust

Characters’ voices also change to accommodate the transformations and other variables such as cooking are affected by them, as well.

Beyond that, a “Memory Mode” will be added to the game, whereby players can review movie scenes and Bonding Events they’ve seen at least once after beating the game. An “Easy Gaiden System” will also be available for use for New Game Plus saves, whereby players can have character levels raised during Gaiden/Side Story segments and view only event scenes during them.

A release date for the patch remains currently unannounced. As of our previous article on the topic, it remains set for sometime this month.
