Development has wrapped up on Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries announced. Or in other words, the game has gone gold.
The game will be available for pre-order and pre-download on the Xbox Games Store later today. (Update: The pre-order is live here.)
Additionally, the studio announced that the game will launch on November 11 in Europe alongside North America, rather than the planned November 14 release date, with the exception of Belgium (November 12) and France (November 14). Japan will get the game on November 13.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, and Halo 4. In total, it takes up most of the usable space on a single 45 GB Blu-ray disc. A 20 GB patch adding some features and multiplayer content will also be released on day one, but you’ll be able to start playing Campaign modes as it installs.
“Spartan Ops,” the episodic co-op add-ons from Halo 4, will be released for the Collection in December.
