The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II

Elise Schwarzer will be playable in The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II, this week’s Dengeki PlayStation reveals.

As we’ve mentioned in our past coverage of the first game, she’s the younger sister of Rean, with rapiers stated to be her weapon of choice. Three characters set to join the cast from the previous game, Sara, Celine, and Crow, were also shown in the magazined, but specific details have yet to leak.

Details have also been provided on how Rean’s ability to summon the Knight Spirit Valimar (voiced by Daisuke Matsubara) will work in the game. At a cost of 200 CP, he can summon it way of a Special Craft, albeit only once per battle. After a certain number of turns have passed, Valimar will automatically withdraw from the battle.

A brief overview of the overarching battle system has additionally been detailed in the magazine. The selectable commands remain the same as before, with the choices being Attack, Defend, Craft, and Individual Link. During battles that feature Panzer-Soldats specifically, after choosing an attack, you can pick a specific location on the armor on which to focus in an effort to poke at weak spots and make the enemy fall apart. Meanwhile, when summoning a Mechanized Spirit, a Partner Character is selected out of the members in the battle party, who can then charge up, use spirit energy, or dish out EX Arts when their turn arrives, as well as swap out a different character with them if necessary.

The Legend of Heroes: Sen no Kiseki II is set to arrive in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita on September 25.
