D3 Publisher has shared new details on Dream Club Gogo. Specifically about a new host girl and things you can do while on dates.
The new hostess goes by the name Anju and is voiced by Ari Ozawa. A peculiar girl with an even more distinctive appearance, the perpetually pale-skinned and halo-adorned Anju addresses the player in an overtly formal and archaic manner. To make things even stranger for her, once she has some alcohol in her system, she starts making strange claims such as how she’s an galactic police patrolwoman and doesn’t know how to peel open bananas. For reasons unknown, she’s also capable of shooting out electromagnetic waves.
Similar to the previously announced Rinrin, Anju is not immediately unlocked from the start. In order to request her companionship at the club, players must either fulfill certain conditions or alternatively pay for an unlock code at the PlayStation Store.
As for dating activities, Dream Club Gogo is set to include a mixture of series standbys, as well as new places to visit and things to do together. One of the returning activities that will be coming back is the rodeo horse. Should players take their date to the local electronics shop, they can sway their dates to go for a ride on the rodeo horse, ostensibly to see how well they can hold on as things gets shaky. Nevertheless, some girls may find themselves doubting the player’s motivations for having them ride it, uncertain as to whether they’re as pure as the player may claim.
Additionally, during dates, players will once again be able to touch the girls provided they’ve given their consent. As in the other games, indiscriminate fondling is frowned upon; the girls will have somewhere in mind they want the player to touch and deviating from that could lead to mixed results.
One of the new things that can be done with hostess on dates is stay at a Japanese inn. As is typical during such retreats, players can do things such as relax in hot springs with the girls and have drinks with them. Additional details are set to be released about more new activities during the week’s leading up to the game’s release.
Dream Club Gogo is due out for PlayStation 3 in Japan on April 10.
