Produce male idols in The Idolmaster: SideM for Mobage
A "dramatic idol training card game" for smartphones.
The Idolmaster is, largely, a series about producing female idols. But at its “The Idolmaster: Masters of Idol World!!” 2014″ concert event today, Namco Bandai announced a male idol spin-off game for smartphones and feature phones.
Whereas previous Idolmaster games have you producing female idols at 765 Production, The Idolmaster: SideM is a “dramatic idol training card game” that will have you producing male idols at 315 Production.
Male idols include:
- Teru Tendou, a former lawyer
- Tsubasa Kashiwagi, a former pilot
- Kaoru Sakuraba, a former doctor
- Kyoushi Takashou, a former part-time job worker
- Seishi Shingen, a former Self Defense Force member
- Kyousuke Aoi, a former soccer star
- Touma Amagase, a former Jupiter idol at 961 Production
- Shouta Mitarai, a former Jupiter idol at 961 Production
- Hokuto Ijuuin, a former Jupiter idol at 961 Production
Players will scout the city and have contests to find their male idols and form a unit all their own. You’ll be able to give them lessons, change their attire in the make-up room, and see their credibility as an idol raise little by little.
