Square Enix games artist Akihiko Yoshida is joining the core team of Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians, Playdek announced.
Yoshida is known for designing the main character cast of Final Fantasy XII. He also did character design for Tactics Ogre, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics, Bravely Default, and is working on the upcoming Bravely Second.
Unsung Story, headed by Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre director Yasumi Matsuno, is a tactical RPG that aims to be a “refreshing” and “immersive” take on the class-based tactics genre.
New details on the game’s classes, equipment, and story can be found via the latest update on the game’s Kickstarter.
The game has currently raised $439,000 of its $600,000 Kickstarter goal. $1 million gets it on PS Vita, $1.25 on PlayStation 4, and $1.5 on 3DS. Fund it here.
