Konami has released a new 12-minute extended gameplay video of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes.
The footage, captured from a PlayStation 4, showcases the “Side Ops” daytime mission first debuted at the Tokyo Game Show, during which “Big Boss must use stealth tactics and sophisticated cover techniques to retrieve key intelligence from a double agent.” It’s played out a bit differently this time, and showcases the game’s new mechanics, refined AI, and other elements.
The publisher also released four screenshots of the last night-announced PlayStation-exclusive “Deja Vu” mission, in which players will relive a mission originally featured in the first Metal Gear Soid as the Pixelated Snake.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, a prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in spring 2014. It will cost $29.99 on current-gen systems at retail and $19.99 via download, and $29.99 via download on next-gen systems.
