XSEED JKS rebranded Marvelous USA
XSEED will still appear on your game boxes.
XSEED JKS parent Marvelous AQL announced it has rebranded XSEED JKS to Marvelous USA, which will oversee all of the Japan-based company’s U.S. operations, including the XSEED Games consumer games brand and Marvelous Online mobile and online social brand.
To clear up any potential misunderstanding, you’re still going to see the XSEED Games logo on your game boxes. XSEED Games is a brand of Marvelous AQL, formerly called XSEED JKS.
Marvelous USA will be headed by president and CEO Shinichi Suzuki, who held the same titles for XSEED.
“Marvelous USA unifies our US operations under the global Marvelous brand while giving our customers topnotch products and support for both traditional and online social and mobile games,” said Suzuki. “Our XSEED Games console and PC brand will continue to offer the quality games and service for which it is known, and Marvelous Online gives us expanded reach into mobile and online social gaming markets.”
Ken Berry, who has been with XSEED since 2004, will continue to manage XSEED Games’ publishing aspects, deciding which games are published, and overseeing localization, production, and sales and marketing activities for new titles to bring new games to market.
The Marvelous Online brand, which includes the Atlus Online Division purchased earlier this year from Index Digital Media, will be headed by senior director Tatsuya Nishioka.
