Sony and Sanzaru Games have shared new gameplay footage and revealed the treasure design contest winners for Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time.

But first, demo news. A downloadable demo of Thieves in Time will be released on January 22 for PlayStation Plus subscribers and on January 29 to everyone. The demo is brand new, so those who got early access to the first demo from the Ratchet & Clank Collection might still want to check it out.

The video details Sly’s first trip through time and how he’ll go about doing what he needs to do. Watch it below.

The treasure design contest winners have been revealed as:

  • Bright Cane Polish: Tired of Lizard Scales, and Porcupine Quills scuffing up your cane? The Cooper family choice for centuries. Just apply a small dab of polish and buff with a clean cloth. Look at that cane smile!
  • Puffin’s Cookie Jar: Stealing Mrs. Puffin’s Cookie Jar was one of the Gangs earliest heists. Bentley devised the plan to steal the jar off Mrs. Puffin’s desk. Sly snatched the Cookie Jar in his cap just as the janitor arrived.

Sly Cooper: Thieves In Time is due out on February 5 for $39.99 on PlayStation 3 and $29.99 on PS Vita. Those who purchase the PlayStation 3 version will get a digital version of the PS Vita game free of charge.

Was it always gonna be $39.99? I thought it was $59.99 when it was first announced. I could be wrong though. :p

I think it was always $39.99. wrongly lists it as $59.99 though.

Also Vita game pricing to start at $29.99 makes way more sense than new games at $49.99 like Uncharted GA and $39.99 like MGS HD Vita.

Sony has been doing horrible with Vita game and memory card prices. Only the actual Vita itself is being sold at a good price these days (~200 base).

Read on a PS Blog I think that it is actually a reduced price. I’m not sure what it was reduced from (maybe $60 and $40 to what we have now).

But whatever it is this price is great. $39.99 for crossbuy on launch is perfect.

  • MAN!

its going to be sold on march in EU!!

Great price! Very fun trailer, ah too many games @[email protected]

  • Characters 3D models all have such dead eyes. Carmelita looks especially weird.

  • PrinceHeir

  • I’ll be checking this demo out.

    Bentley sounds like Bill Cosby.

Another whole week for those without PSPlus? Really? So you’re telling me I have to wait another WHOLE week… for a demo?! Screw you Sony. That’s messed up.
