  • I’m against everthing his game has to offer… Just not my kind of thing. They should of left DC alone. Meow?

    • I’m not too big of a fighting game fan, but people seem to like NetherRealm, no?

      • I guess, just doesn’t seem right to have DC comic character’s on a mortal kombat type game. But that’s just me, not a fan of Mortal kombat either.

Funny. DC characters are always fighting or at war with eachother. Comic characters in general always are.

Seems like a perfect genre to showcase these characters.

Netherealm is fantastic and Mortal Kombat is fighting done right.

If you arent a fighting game fan thats one thing but your stance seems founded on some idea like these DC characters are to sacred to have their reputations and honor tarnished by a lowly fighting game which just seems rather silly.

I agree. I thoroughly enjoyed MK Vs DCU. I thought the game very well made, the plot well-written, and is loads of fun to play. The DC characters, in particular, are very true to their comicbook counterparts, with the exception that they had to have their power levels normalised to make the game playable, of course.

I thought the story was fun and the son of Doomsday and Ghostrider was a bastard of a final boss!
The gameplay, while seemingly on a 2D plane was a bit lackluster for me but I think that had to do with the dumbing down of fatalities for the DC crowd.
The MK reboot is the best fighter in many years and Im excited to see that engine put to use with this game. Plus being DC only we all know it wont have fatalities so at least for me I can go into this game with a clean slate and an open mind. Cant wait!

Yup! Hopefully there will be more character reveals as the roster still seems kind of small at the moment.

    Looks good!

I am cautiously interested. I grew up more on the cartoons of Marvel and DC then the actual comics (and from what I gather, there’s a bunch of universes and contradicting stories, lol), but the live-action movies and some recent animation movie specials have me interested once again.

I hope Nightwing is in the game *_*

    Seriously, that figurine is UGLY…

    • Dean Winchester

Awwww. Disagree. I think its awesome. So much so I preordered the $99 PS3 version back in November!

      • DrForbidden

Probably just me, then. I thought the faces of Batman and WW on that figurine look extremely distorted. Oh well, I was only planning on getting the regular version anyway.
