ibb & obb, Sparpweed’s upcoming co-op puzzle platformer, will launch for PlayStation Network next spring, the developer has announced.
In a post on the PlayStation Blog, creative director Richard Boeser details the game as revolving “around a world with two directions of gravity, but even more so it’s about the interaction between the players.” Every gameplay element in ibb & obb is designed for two players, ranging from puzzle-solving to enemy-handling.
When it launches, the game will offer five worlds to explore, each with three levels. These worlds open with a colorful and adventurous atmosphere, but slowly evolve into a “somewhat darker” atmosphere as you progress. New gameplay mechanics will also be introduced as you play.
In its current stage of the development, the game is being polished and its online multiplayer is being worked on.
