Square Enix announces Tokyo Game Show lineup

Dragon Quest X for Wii U followup, Final Fantasy XIV included.

Square Enix has announced its lineup for this year’s Tokyo Game Show, set to take place at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan from September 20 through 23.

The publisher is planning various stage events for Dragon Quest X, which will share new information on the Wii U version. Other than that, it’s bringing a lineup of sixteen games. Find the list below.

The big hitters of its showcase will be Dragon Quest X and Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The publisher plans on hosting various stage events for the former, which will share new information on the Wii U version. Notably absent from the list are the recently announced Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, and the long-awaited Final Fantasy Versus XIII, which was confirmed to be absent from this year’s event.
