still wary since the last AC game i played is 2.

while it’s great game, it can be tiring and discouraging at times.

still haven’t played Brotherhood(looks to be my favorite) and revelations seems disappointing.

should have cancelled revelations and concentrated more on ACIII :P

but will see, then again i still have RE6 and ZOE HD Collection coming up so i probably won’t be able to play this for a long time

Revelations actually had some pretty deep story points just like Brotherhood before it and on the whole was a pretty strong entry in the series. It wasn’t without its faults, Altair’s segments should have been fleshed out more because as it stands, they were a severely missed opportunity for character development. On the topic of missed opportunities, the moments in between the sequences in Revelations could have and should have had far more impact than they did.

I can’t go into too many details for spoiling’s sake but the setup and the atmosphere were fantastic and then the ball was dropped. Overall, the last 2 entries push the overarching plot forward further than the mainline games did and that’s never a bad thing. They answer quite a few (BIG) questions asked since the series started and I’m thankful I didn’t have to wait until ACIII for that.

As far as game mechanics are concerned, they’ve only improved as the series has progressed so I don’t see a problem with the yearly installments as long as that remains the case. I mean there are 12 months in a year, is one really going to play THAT much Assassin’s Creed where they’ll be fatigued in 11 months?

I hope Connor and Aveline get the same treatment, although I’m not terribly excited about Connor’s setting.

        ohh i see.

but actually playing AC games can be discouraging since it’s soo long and sometimes i get bored doing the same thing over and over again.

i do love traversing from town to town, going at top of buildings just to get the eagle mark to reveal locations, and assassinating people from a top never get’s old(well sometimes it does).

though after seeing Dishonored, i feel that AC should have been Dishonored in the first place.

i do love Brotherhood’s Portable/Peace Walker recruiting system.

pretty badass your leading a nation of assassins just like Big Boss XD

Damn, it took FOREVER for Connor to reload that little hand pistol LMAO

  • WOW AC:L looks great. Cant wait to play it on my Vita!

  • I watched a few of the videos. Glad to see Liberation looking so good.

I’ve already seen too much of AC3 for my taste, I only watched two videos of it. I’m past watching videos for it, I’m just ready to pick up my Pre-Order copy and play it. =)

Kinda wish I hadn’t canceled my pre-order for AC3, just got to be patient for BF. I’ll have loads of games to play next month anyway.

AC3:L looked so amazing in the video. I love Aveline’s voice. With the AC3:L Vita bundle coming with a memory card, I might be able to hop in sooner. (Just gotta get another memory card to store my main NA purchases, the 4GB should be plenty for JP PSN stuff)

ACIII:L is just wat the doc ordered for Vita, it’s amazing. If Ubi Sophia can do this much shortly after launch, what will the later games look and play like *drools*.
