New cinematic to feature "special guest."

Naughty Dog will showcase a brand new cutscene for The Last of Us at Comic-Con in San Diego next month.

On July 13, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Pacific time, Naughty Dog will host a panel, “The Last of Us: Behind the Scenes with Naughty Dog,” where creative director Neil Druckmann, game director Bruce Straley, and voice actors Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson will discuss the upcoming post-pandemic, survival-action game. During the panel, Naughty Dog will share “an exclusive reveal of a new in-game cinematic featuring a special guest.” Adam Sessler, formerly of G4 TV, will moderate.

Anyone else sick of the internet hate this game is getting?

So sick of “gamers” these days.

@Malcolm Reynolds: I stopped paying attention to interweb kiddos, so I haven’t noticed. That sucks though. Game looks good so far. I hope it will be as open as they advertised at E3. I liked what they talked about at E3 as the demonstration just being a choice between confrontation and sneaking.

      Sneaking ftw!

@Malcolm Reynolds: I haven’t seen anything but praise for this game?

@Sal Romano: Majority of it was specifically from gaf. I’m not sure you go there, but there was some ridiculous complaints around the E3 demo, imo…

I square this game shows hints to what Sony next gen Playstation exclusives will be like.

@Sal Ramano: no youre correct. The press is highly receptive to this game.
I’m speaking generally about the IGN or Gamefaqs crowd. The idiots who are never happy with any game no matter how good it looks.

There are a few in the press who panned the E3 demo saying all it showed was gratuitous violence.
That same group is stoked to chainsaw gun it up in the next Gears game though : /

I thought the E3 demo was……wait for it……wait for it……MIND BLOWING! Even more so than wait for it….wait for it…. Kurt Cobain!

    Wha? To soon?

I’m here all night. Tip your waitress. Try the veal.

      @Malcolm Reynolds:
You shouldn’t take the rants on the internet too seriously. If the game looks awesome to you that’s all you should really care about.

I stopped caring about the opinions of others because, really, the only opinion I need is my own.

TLOU looks awesome and I’m kinda disappointed it won’t be launching this year but bah, no matter as I’ve got lots of games to keep me busy this year like Halo 4, Dishonored and other older games I haven’t been able to get my hands on just yet.

People should stop taking gaming so seriously as it’s just a form of entertainment so I cannot see the reason behind the fanboy wars.

      Just my 2 cents :p

I have to admit though, to Malcolm’s credit, I do remember the complaints of gratuitous game violence after E3. A lot of them did name drop The Last of Us.

A lot of the same articles ignored mainstream titles like Counterstrike or Gears of War which have more than their share of violence as if they were not equally culpable.
