Resident Evil tops the chart.

Last week saw the release of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City in Japan, and its since shot to the top of this week’s Media Create sales chart, selling 252,000 units on PlayStation 3. Mario Party 9, which just launched on Wii, came in at second, selling nearly 153,000.

    The RE name sure does have some selling power. Considering how poor Operation Raccoon City is. It’s also puzzling that the game seems to be selling quite well world wide. (Add 252,525 more disappointed people to the list lol.)

    To be honest, its a shame, because it will probably result in us getting another one.

    I could be positive and say, perhaps a second game will be vastly improved. The thing is, I can think of a ton of better games that deserve (deserved) a sequel.

      And not only that, but the game also topped the US’s charts. So that means, the game was actually a worlwide success (sales wise).

        Yeah, quite puzzling to me. Reviews have been fairly poor. I played it, quite a mess imo.
