Famitsu’s Next Tales of artwork looks different…

Elenpios characters disappear.

Famitsu’s Next Tales of feature this week includes the same artwork as Jump’s feature from earlier this week:

You’re probably saying: “But they look exactly the same!” You’d be wrong. Have a look at this comparison, via Tokkurin:

Can’t see the difference? Here:

The Elenpios characters, which supported speculation that this could be Tales of Xillia 2, are gone. It’s interesting, to say the least. Why have two different artworks?

    I see a #4 over there and I hope it don’t mean Playstation 4 because I won’t get it.

Prob was made as xilia 2 at first but then it got very lukewarm review and sale so they scrapped it and decided to make it new title.

Found this on a Japanese blog. Thought it’d be interesting to share here:

@Sal Romano: Neat graph. Shows just the run the Tales team had with the PS2. I wish we had more of those games localised.

I wonder why it doesn’t list Tales of Phantasia as a DS game though.. it was ported to DS.

@AdamBoy64: Oh wait, that was GBA. Sorry.

I have no idea what the change means.

I did read on the internet that the first commercial for the game will be aired on Fuji TV on the 21st. Which is Monday!

If this is true, we won’t have to wait much longer to find out?
