Skype Video and Voice Calling will launch for PlayStation Vita during today’s PlayStation Store update. It will allow users to keep in touch via free Skype calls on both 3G and Wi-Fi channels.
The app also includes video-calling that makes use of the handheld’s front and rear cameras. The app itself runs in “background mode” while you’re using other applications, including gaming, so you’re able to pause your game and answer the call if you’re in the middle of something.
