Atlus RPG coming to PlayStation Network.

Persona 3: FES will arrive on the U.S. PlayStation Store as a PS2 Classic next Tuesday, April 10, for $9.99, the latest PlayStation Blogcast has revealed.

The role-playing game is an updated version of the original Persona 3. In addition to the original game, it includes a new epilogue scene.

  • rockman29

Are all the PS2 classics 9.99 USD?

Not going to be rebuying games, but that is reasonably priced at least.

@rockman29: Thus far they’ve all been $9.99, yeah. Like the PSOne classics, that hit at $5.99 (or $9.99 for games like FFVII that has 3 discs).

WOW a jrpg classic finally! I still have P3 for psp. It would be nice if they added P4 a year later after its vita release.

AWWWWWWWWWW YES XD I never got the chance play this too!!

  • kironoku

So that means no Persona HD Collection?

    • howardmoonish

@kironoku: I don’t think that was likely to happen anyway.

    Ive been waiting for this!!!!

  • Jackle

Awesome! I’ll most likely buy it since my PS2 scratches my games.

…And I just bought P3Portable a couple of weeks ago, lol. Well, I hope they port Persona 4 to the EU Store anytime soon, I kinda want that game and I don’t have the ps2 version yet.

    • Sal Romano

@FaithlessMr: I’d wait on Persona 4: The Golden.

Atlus will definitely localize it here, meaning Ghostlight will probably pick it up in Europe.

      • FaithlessMr

        @Sal Romano:
I wanted to wait for The Golden as well, but unfortunately Ghostlight takes much longer to localize games than Atlus does, not to mention, their Persona localizations are somewhat recent. Both Persona 3, Persona 3: FES and Persona 4 have been published by different companies here, and it doesn’t seem neither of them commited with conviction to the Persona series.

That being said….I do hope Ghostlight turns into our official Persona/SMT publisher, but….I can’t shake the feeling that it’s still uncertain. Luckily, the Vita *is* region free, so…that will be my last resort.

A mere $9.99 for a great RPG with over 80 hours of gameplay?!?!? Sold

Great game. No real reason for me to pick it up, since I still have my physical copy. The only Persona 3 game I haven’t played/finished is P3P.

Which I hope to do fairly soon! I’m also excited about P4 on vita.
