Kojima Productions boss Hideo Kojima detailed the Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection on stage at the Tokyo Game Show yesterday. Though, details on the Japanese version in comparison to the western version are quite different, so Konami shared a new set of details today that we’ll become more familiar with.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker completely remastered for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
- Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake ports from MSX2.
- 1080p graphics at 60 frames-per-second.
- Icons, sound effects, and all fonts upgraded for HD.
- User interface rebalanced for HD.
- Added right analog stick input and force feedback.
- Features Trophies on PlayStation 3 and Achievements on Xbox 360.v
- Worldwide matchmaking for multiplayer (tentative).
- TRANSFARRING (save data sharing) compatible with PSP® version (PS3 only).
