Ninja Gaiden III is 30 percent complete. A Famitsu report, which includes the first direct-feed screenshots of Team Ninja‘s upcoming sequel, has revealed new bits of intel.
According to producer Yousuke Hayashi, the game’s concept is a “Japanese Dark Hero.”
Ryu Hayabusa, protagonist of the franchise, will utilize his right arm often in the third outing. According to the magazine, his right arm plays a central role in the game’s story. As you progress through the stages, you’ll find new actions to perform, such as sliding and wall climbing.
The new screenshots can be seen below. For the time being, they can only be viewed in “Famitsu low-res,” as we’ll call it. If the regular schedule is maintained, we should have high-res images by the end of the week.
The first gameplay trailer for Ninja Gaiden III will arrive on Monday night during SpikeTV’s pre-E3 special. Stay tuned.
Thanks, Andriasang.
