Sony to hold PlayStation Network briefing Sunday

Sony Corp. Representative Corporate Executive Officer and Executive Deputy President Kazuo Hirai will address the media tomorrow regarding the recent PlayStation Network security breach.

Information from over 77 million PlayStation Network accounts were obtained by hackers as a result of the breach, detailed earlier this week, and possibly credit card information.

Hirai will host the press conference in Tokyo tomorrow at 2pm (1am EST / 10pm PST tonight). He will discuss the infiltration’s ongoing investigation, its management system and when PlayStation Network services will resume normal function.
