Matrix visual designer working on “big” Kinect title

John Gaeta, the Academy Award winning visual designer of The Matrix movies, is working on a brand new Kinect game. His studio, Float Hybrid Entertainment, has been working with the platform, as well as “other emergent motion platforms,” since 2009.

A job listing posted recently on Gamasutra is seeking a lead engineer to “work closely with a small, dedicated team of engineers, artists and designers to make the next BIG Xbox 360 Kinect title.” Applicants should have knowledge of Xbox 360 development and have already shipped a premium Xbox 360 title, be it boxed or arcade.

E3’s right around the corner. If the game’s been in development since 2009, we don’t see its reveal being too far off.
