Jim Wilson, former CEO of Atari‘s US subsidiary, has become deputy CEO and chairman of the company, replacing Jeff Lapin, who left the company for unknown reasons.
Wilson’s promotion came into effect on Christmas Eve — a wonderful holiday gift for any company executive. His colleagues are well on board with his advancement.
“Jim has the board’s full support as he continues to drive new goals of growth and success,” claimed chairmen Frank Dangeard.
“At the end of Jeff’s mandates, Atari is better positioned as we enter the next strategic phase of our plan.”
Former Atari CEO, Jeff Lapin, also has confidence in Wilson’s new position: “With Jim Wilson’s leadership and management skills, Atari is well positioned for the future. I wish Atari and its employees great success.”
