Bethesda’s released a new developer diary for Fallout: New Vegas this morning. In it, the development team at Obsidian Entertainment touches on the upcoming role-playing game‘s art direction.
“When doing Vegas, we didn’t want to neglect any of the surrounding areas around Vegas,” Cheif Creative Officer and Writer, Chris Avellone, says in the video diary. “We have a location called Freeside in the game, before they even had Vegas. I think once they get a taste of that, they’re going to be intrigued to go ‘Okay, if that’s Freeside, then hell, I wonder what Vegas is going to be like.”
“Everything we do with the strip is a big artistic playground,” he added. “It’s like a big amusement park, the size of the city.”
