Yakuza 4 coming to the west in spring 2011

Update: Hostesses will stick around this time, Sega’s confirmed.

Original: Sega surprised just about everyone this morning with a quiet, but unexpected announcement right before E3. Ryu ga Gotoku 4: Densetsu wo Tsugumono, known as Yakuza 4 in the west, will be available to English speaking audiences come Spring 2011.

Exclusively for the PlayStation 3 system, Yakuza 4 allows players to control not just one, but four different characters. Each will have their own unique story to guide you through the game’s plot.

Fans also have a chance to ask series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi their burning questions, which will be answered sometime after E3. Those interested can head over to Sega’s European Blog.
