Splash Damage boss Paul Wedgwood has said that Move and Kinect have an “amazing potential” for shooters, however, added that it might not be the best idea for the two motion control platforms.
“I think these motion controllers have amazing potential for shooters, but perhaps not in the way people might immediately think (i.e. controlling motion),” Wedgwood told CVG.
“Perhaps we’ll think about that in the future, but we don’t have any plans for implementation in Brink.”
Unfortunately, I fail to see how a shooter would work with Kinect unless you had some method of moving around, which to my concern, you don’t. Move, I’d understand. To implement a game with move, you basically just need to turn the controller into the R3 stick and tune up some of the button configurations.
