UbiDays ’08: Prince of Persia Trailer Revealed

The next generation version of Prince of Persia is shaping up very well and from UbiDays ’08 we get a first look at the new trailer showcasing the game and its new art style in action. It has been awhile since we last had our hands on a Prince of Persia title, 2005 to be exact, and while unfortunate, we truly cannot wait to get our hands on the series again.

Ubisoft also decided to throw a little mix into the series this time around. You will now no longer travel alone. Instead, you will be accompanied by Elika, an Ahura who guards Ahriman’s (an evil spirit) prison. She is primarily controlled by AI and is meant to be an assistant, not a pest. Elika isn’t going to get in your way like so many other AI partners in other games do. We still have to see a video of her in action, but it sounds like Ubisoft is pulling this one off gracefully and we wait for the day we can see her companionship in the game.
