A new Umihara Kawase game is in development for Switch.
At the Success Corporation booth at Tokyo Game Show 2017, a poster can be found that reads, “The latest entry in the series!” in the middle of the poster, and, “Planned for release on Nintendo Switch” at the bottom of the poster.
While the series itself is not actually named, the poster features a silhouette of Umihara Kawase.
The Umihara Kawase series began on Super Famicom in 1994. It has since seen multiple entries with Umihara Kawase Shun for PlayStation in 1997 (with a Second Edition in 2000), a PSP remake of Shun in 2008, a collection including the Super Famicom original and Shun for DS in 2009, and a new game titled Sayonara Umihara Kawase for 3DS in 2013, followed by PS Vita and PC in 2015.
Thanks, Nintendo Everything.
