Koei Tecmo has updated the official Japanese website for Fire Emblem Warriors with information and screenshots of newly announced playable characters Elise, Sakura, and Corrin (Male), and of the game’s reinforcement systems.

■ Characters
Corrin (Male) (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki)
A young man who was brought up in Nohr while being of Hoshido blood. He has the power of a dragon hidden within him and fights using a sword called “Yato,” as well as possesses the special trait of turning into a dragon to attack. His attack motions and abilities are the same as Corrin (Female) (voiced by Satomi Sato).
Sakura (voiced by Hikiko Kanemoto)
The kind-hearted princess of Hoshido. She was separated from Fire Emblem Fates protagonist Corrin when she was a child. She attacks using a bow and has the ability to recover HP like Elise.
Elise (voiced by Ayaka Suwa)
The youngest of the four Nohrian royal siblings. She has a cheerful and innocent personality that shines brightly upon the gloomy kingdom. She is a Troubadour who fights riding a horse, can heal allies, and uses attack magic.
■ System
Reinforcement
Use the materials and items you obtained to strengthen your heroes and weapons.
—Emblems
Use materials to strengthen your heroes. There are various effects depending on the emblems you acquire, including enhanced ability, increased combo count, skill acquisition, and more.
—Forging
Transfer the special characteristics of one weapon to another weapon. Special effects, including specific effects and physical magic reversals, can also be transferred.
—Appraisal
When you obtain a weapon, its special characteristic will be sealed. You must meet certain requirements in order to open the weapon’s seal, but by appraising the weapon at a a shop after the seal is opened, you can check its effect.
—Skills
The character-unique skills that have appeared in previous Fire Emblem titles are well and present in Fire Emblem Warriors. By strengthening your bonds with the heroes, you will also be able to use other characters’ skills.
—Class Change
By using the Master Seal, the heroes can change classes to a higher level. After changing classes, the amount of crests that can be created increases and the character’s stats significantly increase. Their clothes also change.
History Mode
History Mode is an additional mode where famous scenes from previous Fire Emblem games are retold as character icons move on a 2D map. Players will be able to enjoy various bttles while taking in the atmosphere and aiming for various rewards.
—Here’s that famous scene from Fire Emblem Awakening. The heroes’ conversations between acts are also depicted with full voice-overs.
—A map from Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon. In additions to map-based gimmicks, players will also be able to enjoy nostalgic background music and sound effects.
Fire Emblem Warriors is due out for Switch and New 3DS on September 28 in Japan, and on October 20 in North America and Europe.
