D3 Publisher has released the first information and screenshots of Bullet Girls Phantasia, its recently announced fantasy world entry in its Shade-developed third-person shooting game series.

■ About
Bullet Girls Phantasia is latest entry in the Bullet Girls series for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita. It is an action shooting game where you control the girls of the “Ranger Club,” which operates with the purpose of non-aggressive defense training, and fight enemies one after the next.
The setting has changed from a school to a fantasy world, where you will fight against monsters like orcs and slimes that come at you in big numbers. Take on the challenge using modern day weapons like guns and tanks!
Of course, the sexy elements from previous Bullet Girls, including “Interrogation Practice,” have been significantly enhanced. With the release of a PlayStation 4 version, the character models have been completely rebuilt, and the girls have been reborn as even more beautiful. Enjoy an intense special training of your most worldly desires!
This is a reborn Bullet Girls that tells a story together with the comrades you meet in another world. On an evolved battlefield, a new battle of girls will begin…!

A Midgard Legend
In ancient times, the dark dragon flew down onto the land of Midgard and spread calamity with its scorching flames.
The Elf hero, blessed with the divine protection of the holy dragon, and an ally from a foreign nation opened the gate to another world, and sealed the dark dragon in the fiery crag of Helheim.
Story
The Ranger Club is a club at the historic girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy that operates with the purpose of non-aggressive defense training.
During special training for the upcoming atheltic meet, the club’s eight members lose consciousness after a sudden flash and ear-splitting roar happens upon them.
Shortly thereafter, the girls regain consciousness and open their eyes to see monsters wandering about and a vast, unknown world unfolding before them.
■ Characters
Aya Hinomoto (voiced by MAO)
A first-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy, and the protagonist of this game.
She became a member of the Ranger Club as a result of the school’s intentional handiwork to form a “Greatest of All-Time Team.” Her code-name on campus is “Last Piece.” While she originally aimed to achieve good results on each mission and change clubs to the First Aid Club, she became fascinated with the Ranger Club after the camp from the previous summer (from Bullet Girls 1) and the mock battles with Elda Academy (from Bullet Girls 2), and is determined to make herself into the kind of member the club needs.
She was a member of the First Aid Club in elementary school and middle school. As a member of the Ranger Club, she still has some way to go. As the “Wings of Misakimori” together with her classmate Yurina Kanezono, she pushes on each day cheerfully and full of energy.
She was super surprised when she was blasted to another world just before the athletic meet, where she encounters a real princess. Can she grow as a true “flame” through “real battles” that aren’t “mock battles”?

A first-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy.
While she initially entered the Ranger Club in order to cause an internal collapse, her act of espionage failed at the camp from the previous summer (from Bullet Girls 1). Yurina harmonized with the hopes of the Ranger Club and decided to remain at Misakimori, and was welcomed as an official member.
As the “Wings of Misakimori” together with her classmate Aya Hinomoto, she pushes on each day cheerfully. In this game, her cooking skills, which are similar to those of a chef at a five-star restaurant, may even captivate the inhabitants of the other world… perhaps?
Silvia Hortensie (voiced by Haruka Yamazaki)
The other protagonist of this game.
She is the princess of the Altania Kingdom that united Midgard, and the leader of the Imperial Knights. She is the strongest princess knight in the Kingdom. She wears extravagant metal armor, but gets exhausted on long trips. As both a princess and the leader of the knights, she has great pride and sense of responsibility.
As a figurehead, can she grow to gain the confidence of the people as “ruler,” rather than as a “princess”?
Sarria Violette (voiced by Asuka Nishi)
One of the 13 magicians that belongs to the Magic House on the frontier. The last disciple. She has vast knowledge, an insatiable inquisitiveness, and was born with great magical power. While she is a mega-prodigy who discovered her magical talent at a young age, she does not have confidence in herself.
Although she is talented, she is shy and shuts out the outside world to concentrate on magic, but will that change when she gets a friend from another world…?
As a game set in a fantasy world, monsters such as orcs and slimes will appear as enemies. Exterminate the countless monsters that approach with firearms such as assault rifles, shotguns, and bazookas. Furthermore, fantasy world weapons such as swords and magic also appear in great numbers. Since you can equip up to three weapons at once, you can switch up your weapon depending on the situation.
In Bullet Girls Phantasia, you will use firearms, swords, and magic to crush the countless monsters that attack the girls. The latest entry in the Bullet Girls series is a truly different and exhilarating experience from previous games.
Buddies
For this game’s missions, the player can choose two characters: the “Attacker” controlled by the player and the “Buddy” that follows and supports them in battle.
Each character is equipped with dedicated weapons, and combining characters in ways that allow the Buddy to follow up on the weaknesses of the Attacker, for example, are the key to succeeding missions.
Of course, the girls of Misakimori Academy will also be able to tag team with the residents of the fantasy world, such as Silvia. Work together with your Buddy to defeat the countless monsters that stand in your way.
Tanks
Firearms and swords aren’t the only weapons you can use on the battlefield. There are situations where tanks are placed on the battlefield, which you can enter and freely control.
Tanks are good for dealing major blows to large groups of monsters, as well as hitting them from a distance. The feeling of exhilaration when blowing back a group of orcs with a tank’s overwhelmingly destructive power is beyond measure. Show the monsters of this fantasy world the true strength of modern day weaponry!
PTA (Pantsu Chirari Action)
The “Pantsu Chirari Action” (PTA, for short) of previous games, where you get a glance up the girls’ skirts each time they use one of their various actions, is well and alive in Bullet Girls Phantasia.
With every little action, whether it’s a dash, emergency evade, close-range attack, or crawl, you can get a peak of their underwear on the battlefield.
Since the monsters have no understanding of the wonders of this underwear-peeking rhythm, it does not have any effect on the monsters, but it’s definitely a sight for the player’s eyes. With the beautiful, completely rebuilt character models, enjoy the wealth of PTA variations to your heart’s content!
Clothes Destruction
The girls’ clothes will gradually be destroyed as they receive attacks from monsters. Each piece of clothing, such as the arms, chest, back, and so on, has stamina, and if it continues to receive damage and runs out of stamina, the girl’s bare skin will be revealed together with a cut-in scene.
Of course, the underwear and bra under their clothing are also subject to destruction. If everything is destroyed, the girl will be completely naked in the end…! In order to clear the mission and protect the girls’ pure hearts, slip through the monsters’ mean attacks to avoid destruction. However, if you want to see the bare skin beneath their clothing…! It’s a painful decision, but you’ll have to choose one over the other.
360-Degree Interrogation Training
Since there are times when you may get captured and interrogated by the enemy, the Ranger Club regularly practices “Interrogation Training.” Even when going from the modern day setting to the fantasy world setting, Interrogation Training is still a thing. Poke, rub, and tap the girls’ bodies, and even use various Interrogation items like water guns, chikuwa, and condensed milk. Follow your instincts and work the girls hard!
Additionally, Interrogation Training has evolved even further in Bullet Girls Phantasia. Whereas the camera angle in the previous games was fixed, this time you can freely move it in 360 degrees.
Kukkoro Mode
Depending on the compatibility of the girl you choose for Interrogation Training with your Interrogation item of choice, “Kukkoro Mode” may trigger during Interrogation. In this mode, the girl receives two times the pleasant feelings she would normally receive from Interrogation Training, and touching her invokes a several times more powerful reaction.
Of course, not only can you do this with the princess knight of the other world (pictured), there are also various Kukkoro Mode situations involving the veteran Ranger Club members.
Bullet Girls Phantasia is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in spring 2018 in Japan.
