Hello Games has released the version 1.3 update for No Man’s Sky, dubbed “Atlas Rises.”
One year after the release of No Man’s Sky, this third major update introduces a new and overhauled central storyline with 30 hours of new content, ancient portals to revisit previous planets or random new worlds, a new procedurally generated mission system, trade improvements, system economies, lite multiplayer for up to 16 players, terrain editing Multi-Tool enhancement, low flight to cruise above the terrain, and more.

- Increased variety in weather, planet and structure names
- More base building parts have unique names
- Prevented trees spawning on sheer cliffs
