The Amazon Japan listing for Megadimension Neptunia VIIR has revealed the first few screenshots of the upcoming RPG, which was recently dated for an August 24 release in Japan.
The screenshots highlight the “Player’s Room,” an area in the new “VR Dimension” where you will be able to communicate with Neptune and friends. This supports PlayStation VR, but it is not required.

Various dimensions exist in the world of Gamindustri… Among them, there is one called the “Zero Dimension,” which is a world on the verge of collapse.
There, the last guardian goddess of the Zero Dimension, Uzume Tennouboshi, was fighting a lonely battle against the colossal evil known as the “Dark CPU” leading the world to demise.
Her painful feelings call Neptune, the guardian goddess of Planeptune in the world of the Super Dimension, to the Zero Dimension. With the meeting of these two as the start, Uzume will happen across even more friends.
And the player, “you,” also have a role.
A girl named Neptune who has traveled beyond dimensions will appear in your room during the game. By meeting her, “you” will intervene in the crisis of Gamindustri.
