Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile producer Yoshinori Yamagishi joins Monobit as VR division head

Yamagishi takes up his new post.

Following his leave from Square Enix, Star Ocean and Valkyrie Profile series producer Yoshinori Yamagishi has joined Monobit as the head of their virtual reality games division.

At Monobit, Yamagishi aims to use the game production know-how he’s gained so far to produce Japan’s first virtual reality massively multiplayer online RPG, as well as completely new virtual reality content that makes use of his virtual reality development know-how.
