A free online versus mode update and the first paid downloadable content for Nioh, titled “Dragon of the North,” will launch on May 2 for 1,300 yen (likely $9.99), Koei Tecmo announced.
“Dragon of the North” will let players “venture deep into Japan’s embattled Northern provinces.” It includes the following content:
- New weapon types
- New scenarios
- New characters
- New guardian spirits
- New yokai
- New stages
A Season Pass is also available for $24.99 / 3,000 yen. It includes access to all three upcoming expansions—“Dragon of the North, “Defiant Honor” and “Bloodshed’s End”—as well as a PlayStation 4 avatar.
Nioh is available now worldwide for PlayStation 4.
