Idea Factory has released the opening movie for Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden, its upcoming PlayStation 4 now officially confirmed to be a collection including Hakuoki Shinkai: Kaze no Shou (Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds) and Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou, which were released for PS Vita in Japan in 2015 and 2016, respectively.
Hakuoki Shinkai: Kaze no Shou and Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou are remakes of the original Hakuoki: Shinsengumi Kitan, one featuring the game’s Kyoto storyline, while the other features the game’s Edo storyline.
Idea Factory International will release the PS Vita version of Hakuoki: Kyoto Winds on May 16 in North America and May 19 in Europe. A localization for Hakuoki Shinkai: Hana no Shou has yet to be announced.
Hakuoki Shinkai: Fuukaden will launch for PlayStation 4 on July 13 in Japan.
