- Ultimate Battle – Upgrade your mecha while surviving and defeating the enemies that appear one after the other to clear the course. Through repeated battle, an “Extra Battle” will occur where you’ll fight with special rules such as three-on-three or boss hunter. You can play by yourself, but if you choose to play online, the Extra Battle will be an online battle with up to six players.
- Trial Battle – Battle against the computer to clear the stage. There will be various routes to take in the final version of the game, and new routes will be added in turn via updates.
- Free Battle – A single-player mode where you can set your own conditions and settings, such as mechas and teams. It’s useful for Mobile Suit and technique practice.
- Player Match – Create or search for rooms that hold a maximum of 18 players to participate in two-on-two online battles. You can even battle with players overseas.
As previously announced, the closed beta will be held on March 10, March 18, and March 19 in Japan during select hours, and applications are available now via the Japanese PlayStation Store. The closed beta will also be held in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea.
A release date for Gundam Versus has yet to be announced. In addition to a Japanese release, an Asian English release is also planned.
Thanks, Hachima Kikou and Famitsu.
