D3 Publisher has detailed the weapons, traps, zombie types, and day one costume downloadable content for SG/ZH School Girl/Zombie Hunter, which launched for PlayStation 4 in Japan today.
Here are the details:
■ Make Use of Various Weapons and Traps
Various weapons appear in SG/ZH School Girl/Zombie Hunter. In addition to main weapons like the hand gun, assault rifle, sniper rifle, sub machine gun, and shot gun, there are also other powerful weapons. Also, in addition to underwear and clothes decoys, there are also items you can use to support you in battle.
The rocket launcher is a personal use firearm that shoots rockets. It is a powerful weapon whose destructive blast expands across a wide range. However, you should be careful as not to be within the vicinity of the blast.
The hand grenade can be used as an item that is thrown and rolls. You can’t throw it from very far away, but its destructive blast expands across a wide range and can damage many enemies. However, you should be careful as not to be within the vicinity of the blast.
You can lay out a trap wire to sever the enemy’s legs. The trap wire can be selected as an item, and while the trap disappears within a few seconds, enemies who pass through the wire will have their legs severed and fall to the floor, allowing you to significantly reduce their movement power. The crawling enemies will, of course, only be able to move slowly, allowing you to take your time and aim for the head shot.
■ Zombie Types
Zombie is the general term of the living dead that broke out in great numbers. There are various types, but at Kirisaku High School, the male-type appear most frequently and attack.
Zombies that were originally students at Kirisaku High School. They attack just like male zombies and scratch with pointed claws, but possess a special trait in that clothes decoys and used underwear doesn’t effect them.
Zombies that were apparently once policemen who protected citizens. They possess a handgun and therefore pose the danger of firing. Unlike other zombies, they can attack from a distance, so you’ll want to deal with them before others.
Giant zombies that were apparently once butchers who worked at a meat factory. They move slowly, but have high physical strength and a huge kitchen knife for strong, close-distance attacks. You’ll want to deal with them ahead of time with a head shot attack.
Mysterious objects that explode when the player gets near them. Luckily, they’ll explode not only if they player gets near them, but also zombies, meaning you can use them to your advantage in battle.
Zombies that were originally businessmen. It wears a suit and wields a huge hammer. Its physical strength is high, as is its offensive power. Particularly in the base defense mission, it will be a troublesome enemy that mainly aims at your base.
A grotesque zombie made up of the upper half of human bodies patched together. Since it has two heads, head shots are difficult to perform, and its low position makes it hard to target. Additionally, its nimble movement make it a considerably troublesome enemy.
Zombies that cling to the ceiling and approach without you noticing. It attacks by extending its neck. Its head moves around vehemently, so a head shot is difficult to perform. Not letting it near you is important, but be careful not to place all your attention on the ceiling zombies and neglect those attacking on the ground.
A huge zombie that draws the line on power compared to other zombies. It protects the facility in the depths of the mysterious underground establishment beneath the school. It is dreadful boss enemy that makes use of its giant and burly body to unleash physical punch and ram attacks.
