Square Enix showcased the PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Quest X for the first time during a Jump Festa 2017 stage event.
The PlayStation 4 version of the massively multiplayer online RPG runs in 1080p at 60 frames per second. The degree of light, the depth of the background scenery, and the atmosphere are more beautifully expressed, the sound quality is clearer, facial textures are more detailed, and fingers are even separated now. Here’s a comparison (the version being compared was not specified—Dragon Quest X is currently available across Wii, Wii U, and PC):
A release date for the PlayStation 4 version of Dragon Quest X is still to be announced. While the Nintendo Switch version wasn’t shown, producer Yosuke Saito commented that it’s in “earnest development.”
