Nioh digital deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses announced

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Koei Tecmo have announced a digital deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses for Nioh, the upcoming action RPG from Team Ninja.

Here are the details:

Standard Edition

• The full game

Digital Deluxe Edition

• The full game
• Weapon pack with five new weapons
• PS4 Avatar
• Season Pass

Pre-Orders for Either Edition

• The Nioh armor to equip in-game, inspired by the ancient statues that stand guard at temples across Japan
• Nioh Dynamic Theme for PS4

Pre-Orders or First Two Weeks Purchase for the Digital Deluxe Edition

• The Crimson Master Armor, another in-game armor but this time based on legendary samurai Yukimura Sanada

Over at the PlayStation Blog, Nioh director Yosuke Hayashi discussed a bit about the game, including how they implemented user feedback from the alpha and beta tests, and how the game is enhanced on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Nioh is due out for PlayStation 4 on February 7 in North America, February 8 in Europe, and February 9 in Japan.
