Happy Wars is coming to Windows 10 through the Windows 10 Store on December 15, developer Toylogic announced.
The introduction of the Windows 10 version will end service for the game on Steam, but Steam players will be able to transfer their save data to the Windows 10 version from the launcher in order to retain their items and progress. Details will be available on the Steam page.
The action battle game, first launched on Xbox 360 in 2012 and then on Xbox One in 2014, will offer cross-platform play across all three systems.
Here’s a brief overview of the game, via Toylogic:
A large-scale online multiplayer action-battle game, Happy Wars involves up to 16 players per match and offers an already huge and existing avid community base. The Windows 10 version delivers wild, over-the-top melees in the ever-popular fantasy setting fondly coined the “Happy Universe”. Featuring stylized and comical characters, six unique classes, thousands of customization combinations and a variety of game modes including Quick Match mode, Co-op, Special Games, Player Match, Skirmish and Story Campaign.
