Dragon Ball Fusions online battles update launches early 2017 in the Americas

In Japan, Bandai Namco released an online battles update for Dragon Ball Fusions‘ a month or so after its launch. With the game having launched in the Americas today, Bandai Namco announced that the same update will launch in early 2017 in the region.
The free update will implement online battles, an online special moves trading function, new characters, new fusion possibilities, and more. Additional details, including its release timing, will be shared at a later date.
Dragon Ball Fusions is due out in Europe on February 2017. Bandai Namco still hasn’t announced whether the European release will ship with the online battles update, or if it will arrive post-launch.
