Dragon Quest of the Stars tops 12 million downloads

Square Enix‘s Dragon Quest of the Stars, or Hoshi no Dragon Quest, has topped 12 milliondownloads in Japan, the company announced.

The smartphone RPG launched on October 15, 2015 in Japan.

To commemorate 12 million downloads, Square Enix will host a weeklong campaign. In addition to receiving 1,000 Gems, players can also take on a “Present Quest” where to obtain a variety of rewards. This quest can only be challenged once, however. Additionally, Square Enix will celebrate the game’s first anniversary with a variety of campaigns, including a special present lottery.
