Lions Film is bringing Creek and River’s free-to-play iOS and Android 3D real-time battle RPG Sengoku Shura Soul to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan this fall, the company announced.
The Sengoku era-themed smartphone game first launched in Japan in December 2015, and has since been downloaded over one million times. It was also released in traditional Chinese in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau in July 2016.
The game lets players form a deck of military officers consisting of cavalry, archers, and spearmen, and put together a military formation to take into battle. Fields and battles are produced in full 3D, and by accumulating a morale gauge, you can trigger special skills. There are also over 300 military commanders and princesses drawn by famous illustrators, and music by Gackt and Access’ Daisuke Asakura.
