River City Ransom SP launches October 27 in Japan, local co-op play removed

Price dropped by 720 yen.

River City Ransom SP will launch for 3DS in Japan on October 27, publisher Arc System Works announced.

The delay comes with the removal of the game’s local co-op play feature for story mode and a new price to make up for it. Rather than the previously planned 4,860 yen for the package version and 4,500 yen for the download version, the game will now cost 3,780 yen and 3,500 yen, respectively.

The game was once planned for release on April 28 before being delayed to June 28 and again to an undecided date.
