Capcom will release an update to its Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour demo that will allow players to explore more of the mysterious derelict mansion. The updated, dubbed the “Twilight Version,” will be available tomorrow, September 15 for all PlayStation 4 users to download.
Capcom also released a new trailer and set of screenshots.
Pre-orders for Resident Evil 7 biohazard are currently available in both standard and deluxe versions. Capcom confirmed today that the deluxe version—previously available for $79.99 and including the main game and season pass containing access to two additional playable story episodes launching after the game’s release—has been upgraded to include another playable story episode. It will now cost $89.99, but anyone who previously pre-ordered will be upgraded at no additional charge.
All pre-orders for Resident Evil 7 biohazard will include the “Survival Pack” add-on, which includes consumable healing items, an early unlock of the insanely difficult Madhouse mode, and a mysterious Lucky Coin in-game defense item. Pre-orders via the PlayStation Store in North America also include a dynamic PlayStation 4 theme.
Additionally, Capcom confirmed it will release a CERO Z-rated version of the game, dubbed the “Grotesque Version,” in Japan alongside the standard release on January 26.
In North America and Europe, Resident Evil 7 biohazard is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24.
