Sega 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage announced for 3DS

After Burner II, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and more.

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals Sega 3D Fukkoku Archives 3: Final Stage, Sega’s third and presumably final 3D classics collection for 3DS, due out in Japan on December 22.

Confirmed titles in the collection include After Burner II, Super Hang-On, Streets of Rage 2, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Gunstar Heroes. It will also include the number one most requested title from a survey included with the previous game. Famitsu lists Wing Wor, Gain Ground, OutRunners, and Virtua Racing as holding positions five through two, but didn’t share the top requested title.
